A name or location entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider that operates that feature. The provider processes the query and supplies the result. We do not retain or record those search terms on our systems.

No Criminal-Record Data on File
Brown County Criminal History does not keep, assemble, or sell a database of personal criminal records. It publishes general directions to records held by the Brown County sheriff, Brown County Court, Brown District Court, the Nebraska State Patrol Criminal Identification Division, and the Nebraska Sex Offender Registry. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Visitor data is not compiled into consumer reports or dossiers about other people.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes displayed here. Information submitted through a box falls under that provider's privacy policy, retention rules, and sharing practices, not this policy. Review those terms before entering a query because we do not control them.

Links may lead to the Brown County government, Nebraska courts, state agencies, legal-aid resources, or outside search services. Once you follow one, the destination's own privacy policy applies. Read it before providing personal information.
